How It All Started
It was fall 2020 and my family had just moved from Crown Point, IN to Gilbert, AZ. Looking for and event for my team to come out and play in, there really wasn't many options for us. COVID was still shutting down many states and options were few. Arizona was one of a few that were allowing play. After a few phone calls were made, THE LAST BLAST was created!!
In its sixth year, the competition still remains strong, and we are hosting the championships at Alberta B. Farrington Stadium at Arizona State University.
Cash In Your Golden Ticket
1 Swing Events has a tremendous amount of loyalty in the softball community. We share that loyalty by providing a "Golden Ticket" to the Last Blast for teams who participated the previous year. The event is exclusive but also inclusive. With a limited number of spots at each age group due to the number of games played in 2 1/2 days. The Last Blast provides a high-level national's style atmosphere in one weekend just before you release your student athletes for the high school season.
